[GUIDE] Cutting and Pasting the right way

Okay, so I know a lot of the leecherinos (if you're not into the whole brevity thing) have a habit of c/p from other sites and sometimes from this site for whatever reason.

Now I understand the need to contribute without having anything valuable of your own to add. It happens. Hell, I'll go weeks in between new posts. Some of my latest posts were simply reposts of threads I made last year that I oculdn't bump because of age. So I get it...this isn't a bash against you for C/P. This is a guide on how to do it the right way.

First:

ALWAYS intro the thread by stating it's a C/P. Never try to pass someone else's stuff off as your own. You'll get the quick flame and people will think you're a douche for not having the capacity for original thought.

Example: Hey guys, just saw this over at WOW Wiki and wanted to drop this duece for you to stank on! Here is a c/p:


Second:

Break it up! No one wants to read a flat, gray wall of text. We don't, honestly. You should actually read through whatever you're posting, find the key points and break them into sections, and even color code them. Look at some of my cons, or GrandTheftAuto's...actually anyone with a brain...they're broken into colored sections for easy reading. Do this!


Third and Final:

Never ask or expect +Rep from a c/p. I admit, if the info is good, I'll rep you for finding it. I, myself don't have time to look all over the interwebs to find random wow facts and guides. So you're doing me a favor. My only caviat, as is everyone's methinks...asking for rep. If you post a c/p and ask for rep, you're like a hooker that asks for money for someone else's vaj-work. FAIL!

You want to get out of leecher status quick, come up with yer own stuff...but if you can't, then follow this guide to C/P and maybe you can get away with it, without looking like a poo-poo head.

Copy and Paste guides always are a fail and they never receive any reputation from it any way and making a guide for it is just.... fail? not really needed imo.

AND last time I checked it isn't against the rules to c/p from another website as long as it hasn't been posted on mmowned, you don't HAVE to give credit, but it's polite to.

Sorry, that prayer thing was out of line.

But, on the topic of my rep, my "shitty / common sense" posts have netted me almost $2000.00 in gold sales, not to mention two well funded toons. I needn't defend myself, as my rep and my scores speak for themselves.

Cool? Selling accounts is much more profitable, I have around 100 full info accounts which I plan on doing numerous things to and eventually selling them, hopefully by the time I'm done next expansion will be near and easy phishing will be back.

See, I suck at scamming accounts. I run my gold scams on user/pass that I get from a YouTube that was given to me. You're in a different part fo the World of Warcraft than me.
