Yeah, I know, another RAF-related thread. Now this is not an exploit per-se, but rather a small detail that few might have noticed.
This quick tip goes to those who plan to get two toons on a RAF account to level 60 in order to get a free level 60 toon on their vet account. However, this will help you save 490K exp on that toon's way to level 61.
When I fiddled around with the "give level" option, I noticed quite an interesting detail: when the level is given, your exp bar does NOT reset; it is adjusted proportionally to the exp percentage it had on your last level.
I think you already see where I'm going with this. If not, don't worry; it's mind-bogglingly simple. Here's the gist of the plan:
- Get one RAF toon through 1-60, and another through 1-61. Why 61? To ensure you'll be able to get the vet toon to 60, and not 59*.
- Get the new vet toon to 99% exp WITHOUT dinging it to 2.
- Have the 1-60 RAF toon to spam the vet toon with 30 levels.
- Have the 1-61 RAF toon to spam the vet toon with 29 other levels.
Now, the new vet toon is not only level 60, but is also a hair away from dinging 61!
I looked around and didn't see any thread covering that particular detail. Therefore, I thought I'd contribute by providing this piece of info, along with a basic strategy on how to use it.
*: That is due to levels being equal, in which case levels might not be given out. I've heard reports that it stopped on level 59 because of that, but nothing confirmed. So this can be taken with a grain of salt, actually.
