[Hunter] how to eat/drink in combat

Greetings out there fellows! Today I will be introducing how to eat/drink in example long boss fights. Like in instances or raids. Lets say you are on a long boss fight in a raid. And you are running out of mana!!! Holy crap dont panic! i got the solution :homer:

1. In combat, put your pet on defensive, and then press follow. Now your pet should stop attacking the boss/mob.
2. Simply press Feign Death, and you will leave combat!
3. Easy exit Feign Death by moving/jumping.
4. Now fast as the eye, click on the water/food you want to eat
Now dont take to much time so that your party will wipe :ne_nau:

Are you sure? I'm kinda sure of that. Well, it works for me. But I cant remember if it works in boss fights mate. But it works in instances for sure

Are you calling this an exploit? Feign death is MENT to put you out of combat.

I am an avid raider, this does not work in boss fights, it used to... and is pretty common sense, though I understand a lot of things aren't clear to hunters.

This hasn't worked since, maybe 2.1?

Feingh death brings you out of combat, yes. But on bosses not sure. Mabey, mabey not? Who knows. Anyways it was a nice tip, even tho i already knew about it. But still a nice tip.

This was fixed a while ago and they said they were going to add that you could feed pet in combat but never implemented it (its on boss fights that it doesnt work)

Okay my gametime is over, so i couldnt test it. I dont know if they removed it. And it is NOT an exploit. I have been using this method in instances, but i am not sure if i have tested it in raids.
And all hunters might not think about this thing. See it like a reminder for those who are new in hunter class? :P

It's also easier to just use a macro after using Feign Death. I have a macro set up for this actually, but I press it while I'm still feigned, don't have to move first.
