<Tested> Gm scam, boe items

Been a while since I posted here, so I'm a bit rusty, and to be hinest I'm not sure if this is the right section for it, but here goes....


I have a level 39 twink warrior, and have always Pendulum Of Doom for it, because of the godly attack speed (4secs), and seeing the drop rate as 0% on wowhead, it is incredibly rare.

So I was farming Uldaman for it, and I got disconnected, and I decided to take advantage of this. Shortly after I logged back in, I ticketed a GM, saying that I had seen the pendulum of doom on the corpse and was in the process of looting it, when I got stuck in the kneeling position (a known bug, adds viability to your story) and eventually got disconnected. I then asked if theres was any way of getting reimbursed for the item, as it is extremely rare (I was sure to add that part in for sympathy points). I then logged off for an hour or so and BAM, it was in my mailbox.

I'm sure this is entirely dependant on the GM, as there is no way of proving whether the item dropped or not, so you just have to hope you get a kind GM to help you.

Sorry if this is a repost btw, I haven't been on here in a while, just wanted to share my experience.

You on EU or US mate? All the shit i've seen on here doesn't work in EU cuz the GM's over here are c*nts. This would be really nice if it worked, since i'm about to farm a twink item from ulda xD

As far as I know EU GM's are much more easy on botting.

It was on EU, currently worked for me 50% of the time, though I have only tried it twice so its not very accurate.

But yeah, I'll add that I did it at around 3 am, perhaps it was just a tired GM?
