[Guide] Unlimited rapidshare downloads - New

Hey guys. Recently I have seen many guides on how to get unlimited rapidshare downloads. Well, I have a little way that is not so common on how to do this. It will require no downloads of any sort.

What you will need:
-A router
-Windows
-An internet connection.. :P

Way number one:

Well, for this strategy, you will need to open up your command prompt. To do that, go to start -> run and type in "cmd.exe" without the quotations.

Once you have the command prompt open, type the following:

ipconfig /release
<wait about 30 seconds>
ipconfig /flushdns
<wait about another 30 seconds>
ipconfig /renew

What this will do is assign you a new IP address from your ISP(Internet service provider).

What rapidshare does is keeps track of your IP address and determines how much you download, and then once you reach your download limit for that IP, you will have to wait.

Now, in some cases this strategy does not work. What you will need to do for this is reset your router.

Way number two:

For this you will need to reset your router. Ushually, if you go to your router, you will see a button on it that is labeled reset. Sometimes it is in the back, and other times in the front. It all determines what type of router you have. If you are not sure where your reset button is, just google " your-router-name reset button" and you should fine it.

All you need to do is hold down your router reset button for about 20 seconds, and your router will reset. In doing this, your ISP will assign you a new IP address, renewing your rapidshare download limit.

NOTE: If you have ANY custom settings on your router (such as open ports or admin passwords to access your router) they will be reset! So if that is the case, and you do not want to reconfig your router, then this option is not for you!

These strategies will renew your rapidshare download limit. So once you reach your download limit, you will need to repeat one of these strategies. It isn't too bad; most of the time it will only take about 5minutes most.

Nice guide, but i strongly don't suggest pressing the reset button on your router, instead take out the power cable from the back for about 15-20 seconds. That'll do the trick + wont reset any settings

Ah, good tip Valk. But for the router I use (DI-604) You need to press the reset button. But, if your router is capable of resetting with being unplugged, then do that instead.

Doesnt work for me i think. I got a static IP, so mine will never ever change. Please do correct me if I am wrong though.
