Oz's Guide to the SSO

It has been some time since I've posted something, so I decided to write this guide on the Shattered Sun Offensive dailies that are done on the island. A sticky would be well appreciated on this, I'm going to put in a lot of effort since I've yet to see an SSO guide out there.



1) Head inside the building at 47, 35 and accept the three quests: "Know your Ley Lines, The Air Strikes Must Continue, and The Battle Must Go On."



2) Head across the path (you can choose to complete the donation quest at 48, 37 if you'd like) and up the ramp of the building at 49, 39. Accept "Keeping the Enemy at Bay and Crushing the Dawnblade." Drop down and also accept "Don't Stop Now..."



3) Accept "Disrupting the Greengill Coast" on the ship at 53, 34, and "Open for Business" inside the building at 51, 32. Finally, head inside the building at 47, 30 and accept "Arm the Wards!" and "Further Conversions" (it will most likely be called something different for first-timers.



4) Venture to the Dawnstar Village located around 42, 37 and complete "Crush the Dawnblade". Keep an eye out for Bloodberry bushes located around buildings and at the base of trees for "Open for Business". Finally, take theBloodcrystal reading at 42,36 for "Know Your Ley Lines."




4) Travel to the area around 48, 43 and complete "The Battle Must Go On" (note that you do not have to kill the Emissary of Hate yourself, you need only to impale his body.) While there, also take the Portal readingfor "Know Your Ley Lines".



5) Head over to the field area at 42, 28. Kill the Wretched for Mana Remnants (you'll need 4) for "Arm the Wards! ". Also kill and convert the Erratic Sentries for "Further Conversions." Finally, loot any remaining bloodberries that you might need (the spawn rate can be teh sux at times, fyi).


6) Travel back to the building at 47, 30: energize the crystal by the ship using the Mana Remnants, then turn in both "Arm the Wards! " and "Further Conversions"


7) Venture up the path next to the ship to Ayren Cloudbreaker at 48, 25: talk to him to complete both "The Air Strikes Must Continue" and "Keeping the Enemy at Bay." (Make sure to hotkey the Arcane Charges and Flaming Oil.)


Head to the Greengill Coast (it starts around 63, 42). Kill the Darkspine Myrmidon for Darkspine Chest Keys to unlock the Darkspine Ore Chest (located near the Greengill Slaves mostly) and obtain the Darkspine Iron Ore for "Don't Stop Now..." ('twas as pleasant to type as it is to read.) Also, kill the Darkspine Siren for Orbs of Murloc Control to complete "Disrupting the Greengill Coast" (you'll need about 4...3 if you're 1337).
Finally, take the Shrine Reading located at 61, 62 to complete "Know Your Ley Lines."


9) Head back into the city and turn in all quests :-)


Congratulations, you've just completed a full round of SSO island dailies!


Estimated time spent: About an hour if you keep a good pace

Approximate gold earned: 114g and 4 silver, excluding any drops and/or cash from mobs.
