Go for prospector's axe I have both and my damage is way higher with the axe

I use Twisted Chanters or the pvp staff for the additional intellect and overall stats. overall it may not be the best in range combat damage. But, personally the only time I ever use my staff is when I'm using wing clip. Other then that, it's just pure kiting.

NOW, if you want to go for improved weapon and ranged damage then use Smite's Mighty Hammer. It gives 11 agi and also has the third highest DPS out of all 2h twink weapons! But, thanks for the suggestion!
