My ping went down from 200 to 49 when i used those, FPS increased from 30 to 70, most of them are registry edits, you should try them out too.

You do realise, for the ping method, you're not actually optimising your FPS at all?
All that you are doing is sending out the Pings at a more frequent rate - there is no benefit and, if anything, it's likely to give you more latency.

Well, fair enough, if the conversation has broken down somewhere. Sorry if I came across as obnoxious.

The ping part of the guide is just a trick to make your computer ping the server to test the rate more often.

The ping frequency has no bearing on how fast the actual game data is updated, and if you have lag because of that it will not improve it.

Well that is weird, can you explain why my ping went down to 48 from 220 after I did that?

I need some help, I tryed running the ScanDisk thing you posted a link to and my computer wont start now. It always stops when it reaches 57% on part 5/5.

Sorry if this is the wrong place, but I was hoping any of you knew anything about it.
