[GUIDE] How to Install Ventrilo

PLEASE READ: this would be my first guide
so crits are welcome

Ventrillo (aka Vent) is a program which allows users to speak to each other through a
microphone to each other on games like WoW, Counter-Strike, Battlefield 2..ect, their mostly used for clan gaming/guilds to chat to others/discuss/strategic discussion..ect

step 1: Have a working microphone ready

step 2: Download Ventrilo from Ventrilo - Surround Sound Voice Communication Software, you can get the free trial version, if you don't feel like buying it, or just to test it out.
Install Ventrilo, (follow the steps)

step 3: Run ventrillo, after starting it, go up to the right top corner where it says username then click the arrow on the right side. click on new and make a username, (usually the ones that people know you by).

step 4: Click on server after you've chose your username.
click on new, make the name of the server you are making something that is similar to the server that you wish to connect to.

Hostname:
Portname:
Password:
All of which you get from server that you wish to connect to.

After clicking ok, go to Connect (upper right)
and now you are connected to Ventrilo.

Hold on here for a second, ventrilo is a FREE software and you do not need to buy anything -.-'. There are only full versions of ventrilo and no trails, FULL VERSIONES ONLY.

Yes Ventrilo is free software but unless you're using the standard 8 man ventrilo server, it costs money to host them, or to pay a host.
