Solo chest farming-Ramparts

tried this without wallhack and i think someone can do it but i am too slow^^
when i am at the chest the mobs come back^^ and BAM dead ...

Can you just use prowl with a druid and go around mobs instead of using wall hack? Do they aggro?

I've been doing this since TBC came out, and I'll let you know, as of recent Blizz is watching this and I've had one main and two friends banned for trying this.

Just a heads up. Not worth the risk.

This method still works been doing it almost nonstop for two days using offset 443 on mountain climb.

i realize that blizz has caught onto this, but im just wondering (as i never tried this) what did this Wall Hack actually do? ... because if it has the word HACK in it... it probably wasnt safe to begin with...

I've [was] doing this since BC released and I walked into Ramparts for the 3rd time in my life and said "omg that chest is still there".

It used to be possible without the Mountain Climb hack (being incorrectly named "Wall Hack" in this thread). You would just scale the wall, using a trick I believe is widely refered to as "wall walking".

However, Blizz altered the wall so that is no longer possible.

You can farm this chest 5 times an hour with a Rogue (it's almost always locked), but you need to use hacks, and Blizz is onto it.

The chest always drops 5g50s~, usually a scroll or potion, and a green. Sometimes you get a blue (and even once or twice I got two blues).
