got a quick ? about plua macros

Ok i'm not to sure if this could be done or not but i would like two macros.
One that can loop over and over and just check for Power Word: Shield and rebuff it when its not up.

And I would like a macro that would look for a mage casting poly and will /stopcast /cast Shadow Word: Death right at the end of the poly cast .

I don't mind learning to write them my self if someone could just point me in the right direction thank you.

If you want something that does stuff without you need to push a button, but it instead just happens, you'll need to write an addon instead that runs the script you want OnEvent or OnUpdate.

I was looking to take a look into playing around with spellalerter as it is now you can set the addon to play sounds on spell cast like poly and such would like to edit the play sound part out or add to put to run a command such as /stop casting /cast shadow word: Death would be a great pvp addon you could mod it so it would cast x wile y is casting you could even setup a delay something like that would be super nice.
