NinjaInvite 2.0 RELEASE [Send Mass Guild Invites]

i'm probably doing something wrong but cant figure what, when i start the thing, it send em a whisper, but it doesnt seem to auto-invite em when they say ''YES'' hmmmm

did you enable the feature? it's not enabled by default. /ni msginvite

yup it's enabled, it do send them the message, like i wrote the message describing the guild and at the message i ask them ''if you're interested to join respond yes or no.'' some respond yes or no , but it doesnt send an auto-invite to those who answered yes hmmmm

i'll look into this sometime soon, i work all day the next few days so i will see if i can squeeze in some testing time. truth is i don't have anyone to help test my add-ons but now i have 2 accounts so I can actually do some testing.

Ah i have figured it out. The addon DOES NOT WORK if you do not have ace3.

I have typed /nl msgplayer to set it to ENABLED, however, upon "Starting invites...", I dont think my character sends a message to anyone because I just see people joining. In the last version of this addon, I could actually see my player whispering the invited people (the purple text)

What is going wrong?

this feature was replaced by /ni msginvite feature. read my first post and a couple posts before yours.

Thanks. It is now sending the invites to all the players. However, it is not inviting them. I do not wish to wait for their reply, only to send a message and to invite at the same time (like the previous version did)

It whispers all the players but does not invite them. If I set /ni msginvite to DISABLED, then it does NOT whisper the player, but DOES invite them.

i know this feature is NOT working. because it was replaced by the new feature. however it seems like everyone wants one or the other or both so i'll just have to implement both. expect an update soon.

Ill +rep you when you release the new version with the old invite+msg at same time working again.


Also, any chance you will ever add an option such as "Invite as you go" so that for each time it collects more names, it invites them straight away in order to prevent people going offline by the time the addon has finished running. For this reason I always use start SHORT because otherwise I get alot of offliners.

yeah i'll get working on it soon. i just moved into my new house today and getting settled down now. will probably work on this tonight or tomorrow morning for you all.


i've released the new update: Download now.

Changes in 2.86:

1. Send message on invite and message to get invite now working seperately.
2. Instant invite is now available, this will invite the character as soon as it finds it on the /who instead of waiting. You can enable this by using "/ni instant".

I'm using v2.86 and its ending early often. Seems to happen when it gets to level 85. I set it to invite 85-85 but its dying very quickly.

you'll probably have to do something other than 85-85. I'm just thinking you're confusing the add-on by putting the beginning as the ending if you know what I mean. I will look into this in the future however.

It does the same thing when I choose level 40-85. Or any level to 85. Once it gets to the level 85's it ends. I just did the 85-85 range to recreate it quickly to post the output here.

Ninjainvite doesn't show up under my addons list, yes I'm putting it in the right directory and yes I have ace3.
