Disable sound coming from all sources but addons?

The title basically describes it. Does anyone know of a way to make it so that the only things that are able to make noises in game are addons? I like playing with sound off, but also would like to be alerted if a GM decides to open a ticket with me, or I get a PST from WIM or something.
Unfortunately, the sound options that allow me to hear addons also enables sound to come from the actual game, which is really annoying if I happen to be botting or doing something else while advertising professions.

Hi, I've had ur same problem..
The only way to resolve this perfectly it's with addon.
It mutes ALL sound except 2 sound played by DBM ( it mutes boss speech as well), addons with own sound still work ( big wigs for example, wim too! ).

For me, it's awesome! 'cause I can play like in 3.x, with only sound warning in the bosses encounter!
