Bartender and the Priest

Does anyone who play a Priest have trouble with Bartender? I have the latest version, but whenever i have it active, the default blizz UI shows. It also makes my bars the same for shadow and out of shadow stance. Any help is mucho appreciated.

I had the same issue when I loaded my priest with an addon pack from Curse. I went back and deleted the wtf folder relating to my priest and it loaded properly again. Give that a try. Make sure you back it up before hand, and if possible, only delete the Bartender files.

I tried that. I even wen as far as to download a fresh copy of bartender.Still no luck though.

The shadow thing is related to the fact that when you switch in to shadow (or any other stance), your action bar gets swapped to a special bar. You have to manually tell bartender to do that.

This. Think changing stances as a warrior, shapeshifting as a druid or stealthing as a rogue. You can manually set bartender to swap to a different bar for you when you change stance. Check out the wowwiki article on stances.

Also although it looks like the default UI is showing, the mod may be working fine, when first installed bartender keeps all the default blizz artwork and looks just like the default UI. All this can be changed in the settings, as well as showing more bars I believe. Not 100% sure as I'm using dominos atm.

I have the same problem on my. So i decided to try some stuff to fix it suggested on other sites. Did not get a fix to it. So i removed the addon. :s

hey pat, its a pretty useful addon. to fix it, go to bar 1. Then you will see the option for paging, click that, and the option for shadowform default bar.(which is like 7).
