Simple G15 Milling and Disenchanting Guide by The Maffyx
There may be similar guides around on the internet, and I searched MMOwned and haven't really found much on this. I use this method to mill herbs and disenchant items in bulk, this really helps you out a lot if you're trying to mill 400 herbs or disenchant 100 items or so. Here is the guide I hope its helpful.
Colored text means its probably a good idea to pay attention to!
I'm assuming for this that you already know how to use the G15 and its functions.
So that being said, lets go make a new macro, you can use what ever G button you want, it doesn't matter.
Pick a button or number that can be used in game to activate a macro, I use the 1 button so I can put the macro on the skill bar and not have to mess with keybinds. But if you have a certain button you like go ahead and use that, if its a multi key function such as Ctrl + P or something, I'm not sure how that will work, you might want to use a skill bar slot instead.
Ok so now we have a macro slot selected lets make the G15 macro first. Choose an empty G number and go to Assign Macro > Create New Macro, This will open up a new box.
If you already have a macro there thats fine, just make a new one, doesn't matter what its named although you might want to name it something you will recognize if you use multiple macros on that button.
After you name the button we will record, make sure you have the check box that says "Record delays between events" checked.
Hit start recording and hit the button you want to be activated in game, then hit the button that will activate the in game macro when hit. After you are done recording right click on the time delay and select edit, and place in 5000, this will convert to a 5 second delay.
I use 5 seconds because its what works for me, if you usually lag a bit, you might want to consider using maybe 6 or 7 seconds to compensate for it.
Now we have to change the toggle on the G button. Go to the G button you just assigned, and then go to Repeat Options > and check Toggle, What this does is it will continue to do this macro until you hit the G button again. So if you hit the G button you can let it go forever until you hit that G button again.
Now that we have our G15 part set up, we will set up the WoW Macro.
Make sure Auto Loot is ON
This is pretty simple, just make a new macro and name it whatever.
If you're milling type in the following in accordance to the pigment you're looking for:
Alabaster Pigment
/cast Milling
/use Bloodthistle
/use Peacebloom
/use Silverleaf
/use Earthroot
/use Mageroyal
Dusky Pigment

/use Briarthorn

Azure Pigment
/cast Milling
/use Goldclover
/use Tiger Lily
/use Deadnettle
/use Adder's Tongue
/use Talandra's Rose
/use Peacebloom
/use Icethorn
/use Lichbloom
It's important that you will always have a stack of 5 of these herbs, if you have an uneven stack, get it out of your bags! If you don't do this it will give you an error and you won't be milling anything. So just make sure you have stacks in multiples of 5, ie. 5,10,15,20 nothing like 11, or 14, or 19, these will break the process.
If you want to make a separate macro for each type of pigment that's fine, just switch them out when you want to mill those herbs.
This is pretty much it for the milling, after everything is done milling just hit the G button again to stop the macro from casting and make your ink or sell the pigment, whatever you want to do.
A good tip to keep in mind for Azure pigment is that Adder's Tongue, at least on my server goes for roughly 21-22g and sometimes less, and has a 50% chance to mill Icy Pigment, which turns into Snowfall Ink, which can be profitable. So I try to buy as much cheap Adder's Tongue as I can and mill that for cash.
I think its time to move onto the enchanting part. There isn't much to this either.
The G15 part stays the same
We just have to make a new WoW macro.
Make a new macro and type this:
/cast disenchant
/use <item name here>
Obviously you don't use the <> but you get the point.
Just put that in the slot you are using for milling, or if you don't mill, just keep it in that slot, you can add multiple items to the list too, just go to the next line and add like so:
/cast disenchant
/use <item name here>
/use <item name here>
/use <item name here>
/use <item name here>
You can do that until you run out of macro space, just make sure that your last line is complete and agrees with the macro or it won't run right.
After you have both of these set up just go in game, make sure your bar or button that has the macro set to it can be clicked IE, you have the macro on the 2nd skill bar, and its not on the 1st skill bar. Then hit the G button and wait.
I hope this helps and explains some stuff to some people, if you have any questions or comments, or need help with the G15 please post! Hope you liked it and thanks for reading!
