Very good DK Dps Spec / Frost for Raids and heroics.

Just try them all out on a dummy (even though it isn't a perfect target due to bugs and scaling with raids). Respecs don't cost that much.

Lately I've been testing this one: Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft

Glyphs: Obliterate, Icy touch, Frost strike
Sigil: Icy Touch damage increase sigil from Venture Bay
Rotation: BS BS OB OB -> DUMP (which is Frost Strike ofc) -> 6x IT -> DUMP
UNHOLY PRESENCE. Doesn't have the 15% damage increase but has enough time to spam the Icy Touches fast and then spam 4x Frost strike. Got better results with unholy presence than blood, tried both. And yes, no applying diseases before starting the rotation, just begin with the blood strikes even if they do less damage.

IT spam is quite good if your weapon isn't that great. That's why you only use Obliterates to get some death runes. If you have runes on cooldown and you are about 10 RP short of a frost strike, use horn of winter (with glyph) to get the needed RP and make an additional FS. Also, you should use a Howling Blast whenever your Rime talent procs (you get a buff called Freezing Fog).

I have a DK with this spec:

Its a good one. I made it when I was only doing like 800 dps (horrible) and now I'm up to about 1400. Though I still think thats low for a DK.

This is the DK I have, my gear isn't fantastic. Do you guys think I should be doing more DPS than 1400?

Thanks for any help you guys can give me. I'm basically trying to get better DPS than a buddy of mine whos a Fury warrior and always beats me in DPS. I do heroics but not to much raiding yet anyway.. I will once my guild gets larger though.

I didn't check your specc you linked, but on your armory it says Blood specc and that's not right!

Roll frost/unholy or unholy/blood hybrids and you'll be dealin' 5k dps...

Btw: My 79 hunter has more 80 epics in my inventory than you've got equipped :O Not to be mean but yea, it's kinda fun :O

Tell me if you need a specc for dualwield unholy/frost or 2h unholy/blood

the frost/unholy specc is the best, easy 5k dps in raids.
when u go this specc be sure to not gimp ur attackpower to much.

Guys you have any viable tanking specc post patch 3.1? since death knight talents get really messed up it's a bit of trouble to get a good one..

PShhh!! look at my character Darkstrikerx on Aegywnn he's 4-4.5k DPS but now he's Unholy with frost he was 3k-3.5k lol O well If you guys need help just copy my spec
