What is Rogue?
Rogue is a free web browser for video game players. It enables gamers to surf the Internet, while playing the most popular PC games.
Gamers spend a quarter of their time in game waiting for teammates to log in or games to load. They want something to do during this downtime, but exiting or minimizing the game means missing critical action.
GotGame Rogue eliminates this waiting game, enabling players to surf the web via a fully functional web browser without ever leaving their favorite games.
Some of Rogue’s current features include:
• Game overlay for Windows XP & Vista
• Full CSS, JavaScript, and Flash support
• Editable homepage and bookmarks
• GotGame Search powered by Google
• Hot key to open/hide browser when in game
• Configurable transparency settings
• Optimization toggle for faster/slower computers
What hotkeys do I need to know to use Rogue in game?
F12 – Shows/Hides Rogue
F11 – Transfers Mouse/Keyboard Control From Rogue to the Game and Vice Versa
F10 – Decreases Rogue’s Transparency
F9 – Increases Rogue’s Transparency
How do I open Rogue when I’m playing a game?
Accessing Rogue in game is incredibly easy. All you have to do is follow two steps:
1. Open the Rogue application prior to opening your game or while a game is running
2. When you are in game, press F12 to overlay Rogue on the game screen
Rogue should open in game automatically, if you have opened it prior to opening your game.
Currently, Rogue works with many of the most popular PC games; however, it does not work with every PC game. See the Supported Games section below for a complete list of the games that have been tested by GotGame’s staff which support Rogue.
