Useful Death knight macros

ok first of i will start by teaching you how to edit macros incase the realms are down which tends to be the time i play around with macros. navagate to (World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\<account name>\macros-cache.txt) that is for your "account wide macros" for charcter specific go to (...\Account\<account name>\<server name>\<char name>\macros-cache.txt) i use notepad i believe most text editors work.

Anti Kite
#showtooltip Death Grip
/cast Death Grip
/cast Chains of Ice
(will attempt to cast death grip if on cool down it will cast chains of ice)

Unholy Stun
#showtooltip Death Grip
/cast Death Grip
/cast Gnaw
(will death grip the target to you and then stun it)

One silence button
#showtooltip Strangulate
/cast Strangulate
/cast Mind Freeze
(great pvp/arena macro)

Ghoul ranged Stun
#showtooltip Leap
/cast Leap
/cast Gnaw
(will instantly stun the target great for oh shit situations)

Quick heals
#showtooltip
/cast Vampiric Blood
/cast Rune Tap
(for blood speced dks only make sure you have 2 blood runes up)

there are some big flaws with your macros.....

eg. your One silence button... since patch 3.0 the api has change allowing multiple spells being cast at the same time if not on same cooldown...

this One silence button will cast both and just ruin the point of it....

what you may wana do is put it though a cast sequence instead with a reset for the lower ones cooldown...

Ultimate Attack!

one button click does it all....
great for pvp (will autotarget closest enemy if no target exists - pop power up trinkets if not on cooldown - cast runestrike if available - then in this one Death Strike (just replace with whatever strike you wish )
