I'd highly suggest giving Paypal a call and see what they can do from there.
Hello,
Long time since I've been here.
I got a question, about a year ago or 2 years ago I had trouble with PayPal, had a dispute opened, and I lost.
They sent letters home, but my parents always threw them to the trash, now they sent me another email saying I should pay before 13th February.
Im not going to pay because that dispute wasn't due to a scam, it was due to selling an account to a chinese paypal hacker ( I had no idea of those pple by then) and they said they will take legal actions to get me to pay, and it could be worse if I have to pay on the court....
Anyone ever had smoething similar?
Thx
I'd highly suggest giving Paypal a call and see what they can do from there.

Well if I call them they'll see I am in Germany right now, thing is I tried explaining it multiple times in spain, and they didnot give a shit about my issue...
People told me to ignore them, and thats what I am trying to do... But I don't wanna get to court ( Well I am 16, don't think I can :/ Not sure )
Yes, you can. For multiple reasons. Call them and tell them everything and that you will pay once you know what the **** is going on. Throw a fit if you have to. Don't take no for an answer.

I have the same problem, except Gatherbuddy is the people who are after me for money (via PayPal) its gotten to the point of debit collectors calling me, variation of my problem is I paid the company and they dont think I did.. Not really sure of what to do myself either
Anyone out there able to shed some light on my/our situation/s?
Harsh situation, if it isn't a high amount - I'd suggest just paying it.

WELL depending where you live and how much you owe,
You most likely can tell them to go to hell.
if its under 1000$ they most likely will never take legal action because just to summon you to court they gotta pay a couple hundred dollars then the actual trial just costs more then they will get out of you. + they have to have a representative there, which they have to pay or buy a plane ticket which is another couple hundred dollars.
Ignore it.
theres a reason they call collection agency's instead of just doing shit.
Are the letters from PayPal themselves or fro ma debt collection agency?
If you need me you have my skype, if you don't have my skype then you don't need me.
I don't remember how much it was, they don't even mention it on letters or emails... I didn't get called but I did get letters home, im not paying them a cent, I am the victim here, ****ing chinese paypal hackers...
And yes, I tried explaining it thousand times... no luck..
Man I am not sure, last letter I got was in March 2009, then never got any again...
Im not sure how much I owe them, since my paypal account has been blocked/frozen/unable to log in for 2 years or more .
I can remember it was around 250-400€ I sold the acc for, I remember no more than 300€.
Don't tell them you are only 16... you are not supposed to have a paypal account if you are under 18 :3
<3 MysterioussouL for the sig
Didn't know that O.o I mean wtf I entered my age by then and I had no trouble :O.
Plus, you rly think they'll take legal actions for 250€-300€ O.o ? I mean if it was over 500€ maybe but like, court, some representative... That would cost them way more than that :/
Anyways I was joking. Just ignore the idiots
