    Suspicious Email
    This is how it works.

    1. The person gets your email and adds it to the MAss Auto Sender like Darkwiz787 was talking about.
    2. It generates a fake email and sends you to the fake link
    3. You click the link and fill out your info
    4. And Vwala, you have been hacked

And... Blizzard Never asks for your password, remember that.

I've got this email twice already. I was almost fooled. But knew it was scam when they asked about password.

Blizzard will never ask for you password.

I've had this exact same email and i still get them on a daily basis. And I can tell you 100% its fake. I called Blizz myself and spoke with a representative over the phone, which assured me the email is a fake, and not to reply to it.

Someone may have accidentally used an email spammer that didn't support html, thus no live link.

What u seem not to understand is there was no fake link...They wanted an email response to a [email protected] email. Which would mean if you reply the email goes to blizz. Why would a scammer want you to send an email to blizz with ur info? He gets nothing out of it...:S

Demon, Blizzard would NEVER ask for your password once again, so I say don't bother with the e-mail, call blizzard if your unsure just don't reply to it.

It's weird.. I've been getting emails saying Status notification failure, which means i sent messages to people that no longer use that email... I find this very annoying because it seems like someone else is using or stolen my email account, to send hundreds if not thousands of emails out to people.. I remember once i had over 100 of these in my inbox..

Because the scammers fail. You can make it so when they reply it goes to their e-mail but they obviously ****ed up.

Seriously, this was so obvious the second they asked for your password. Blizzard has said time and time again that they will NEVER ask for your password. How are you struggling to figure out if this is legit or not?
