Hey guys.

Time for me to make another attempt at contributing for ya guys. I know its a LONG post, and im praying that it doesn't get deleted, I put a lot of time into it.

What i'm about to show you reveals a lot of my personal scamming strategy that I use on the field. So don't abuse it!

It is a close-to FULL log on a scam I ran against a victim who KNEW what he was doing. I'm going to explain step by step each process of the scam. I would have put this on a rapidshare link but I wanted to format it correctly and it just seemed better putting it in the post. If there is a problem with my log being posted inside the post itself, please let me know.

As you are reading the logs, I will explain each notable event in the scam. Hopefully, this will help you guys with some extra firepower to use on the field.

Again, this is a scam pulled on an experienced trader (not easy). I used an actual character to show in-game. Some parts may be confusing to beginner scammers. Just ask in a reply if you have questions.

The text in Orange are my TIPS.

(here is a strategy I like to use. I'll choose an appropriate time(in this case while he thinks im changing my email to his) to randomly throw out my fake secret question and answer)...I do this so I have an excuse later on to ask for his.

(at this point, he really thinks I dont want to trade anymore...and hes thinking to himself "why would a scammer reject trading?" why he asks? little does he know, i'm a damn good one)

(remember when I said I confirmed his email? I didnt...and this is why: I claimed to have confirmed his e-mail so that he keep checking for the confirmation...at the same time his patience is getting short...recipe for ownage hehe)

(Ok, RIGHT HERE is where I finally send the spoofed confirmation e-mail, watch how this works so perfectly)

(the past 5minutes....he was the comfortable one and I was the uneasy and worried one......now the roles change a bit since he let me logon to his account.....he is now starting to get a little defensive and worried....and im now the nice one all of the sudden...after all...im logged into his account)

(BOOM! here is where I make an attempt and trying to get his real SA...which is the goal....if he asks how I know that its wrong? I tell him that I just checked it with the parental control function...which is completely LEGIT; and sounds better than telling them "Oh I tried to retrieve your password")

(Ok....at this point in time I have a lot of clues. So here's what I do, luckily its a secret question that is easily hackable. Highschool. I load up google, type in a search for "high schools in , . Google returns me with a list of all the information about high schools in the area. I go through the list trying each of the highschools in the Password retrieval.)

(Here is where I block him. You should probably never admit to the scam like I just did haha. I NEVER do, but in that case I just had to)

(That was a 3/5 Vengeful 2/5 Merciless Warrior I just got by the way)





Here's another tip that you might use. I felt like verifying his last name...to see if he gave me a genuine name in case I wanted to xfer the char off to my own account.

Use switchboard.com to search peoples name. Lookup your own parents name. You'd be surprised at what comes up
