Lol, nice thinking. Still, in my country were all stores are smart.
THEY DONT GIVE REFUNDS, u can only exchange your game for something else and thus this only works with people who are either really dumb or nice.

And most stores dont refund on gamecards either, they allways tell me that when im buying cards with codes with them. They say:
U cant exchange this game, since you are paying for the code.
Or something like that.

Then get the game and sell it on eBay? Or even better.. just do this method, tell them when you got the card the sticker was completely removed and the code was already used, and ask them for another one.

I live in Louisiana, where most people are stupid rednecks. I cant do it at wal-mart anymore, However when I did try to return it, They gave me 30$ off the battlechest, So I have another account for alts.

I then did it at target and it worked

Another 3 months of WoW for me.
