[Tip] How to get people's Email's or send them to your scamming site...

Before I start let me say I did several searches and found nothing regarding the topic.

Now, to the scam,

This scam should involve you having another account preferably one that you don't care if it gets suspended, so maybe a scammed account you have access to.

Log onto any server and start whispering any Level 70 character or start typing in Lfg channel. So you can do this one of two ways:

Usually what I say if I whisper them is...

Hi, I have a WoTLK Beta code to give away - Visit  - One sign-up per IP - Play WoTLK Beta before anyone else - the New Death Knight class is so awesome!

Then if you advertise in the Lfg channel, I say...

I have five WoTLK Beta Keys to give away!

Then people whisper you and you basically BS a story on how you obtained a key.

Once you have someone to talk to you proceed and talk to them and tell them you need there email so you can write their name in invitation form. Once you get their email use a fake mailer to email them.

Greetings,

An investigation of your World of Warcraft account has found strong evidence that you are eligible for an account upgrade.  You are eligible for the Wrath of the Lich King Beta. 
To sign-up and get your download please visit our website at this special link: (please click on this special link)
http://worldofwarcraft.com/login
This process usually last's one week.
Thank you for your time and attention to this matter, and your continued interest in World of Warcraft.

Hopefully you've gathered a few emails and more traffic to your website. Your account can get suspended or possibly perm-banned using this method, so that's why I use a scammed account. I've only been suspended for 24 hours using this method.

EDIT: Here's what I whisper to people. I got 3 accounts earlier today by whispering this. People are stupid. I would say I whispered 150 people and I got 3 accounts. Not to shabby! Again here's what I type!

~~Method 2~~

How to use the method above to scam ONLY gold!

Basically you start the same way. But, once you get the account steal everything from the character. I would recommend creating a guild on an alt and depositing everything in the bank. I haven't been traced once using this method.

This is pretty useful if you don't have all of the account info. When I don't have all of the account info I log into the account at late hours and pretty much steal everything. I was lucky enough to scam an account who was an officer in a high end-game guild on my server. Probably stole around 10K worth of gold. This was 3 weeks ago. Still haven't been caught!

Ya you can pretty much write w/e you want. It makes people think they're account is good enough for an invite to "beta". It works pretty well though. I would say I've gotten 20-25 emails through this method and have probably gotten 15-18 accounts.

I also like to use this method for scamming gold off of accounts as well. I will update my post later and include that method as well.
