Obvious, quick, easy gold.

I do this on every server i reroll on. Make your char, and head to a city. Make a macro that says:

"hello. i just rerolled from another server, do you think you could give me a quick gold so i can train weapon skills? heh sucks rerolling with no cash :-\"

This makes it sound friendly and not like a total stereotypical begger. Sometimes people give you more than 1g, ive gotten 10g from a generous person once. I know, prolly been posted, just tryin to contribute.

I got 10 gold because he wanted to help me out in general... not just for training. its just a quick way to earn some gold on a new server.

ya like Pellats0s said the person would have to be very gullible. Whenever beggers try to get gold from my main I just say "Well you should know how annoying beggers are then" or "I lost all my gold to the creatures of Azeroth. If you retrieve it for me you may keep it."
