If you follow the instructions you should be able to get away with this scam with out being banned ofcource it depends how often you use this scam and how smart the other player is, I still havnt been banned or anything yet

Hm... going to try it out, right now.. But people are asking me to let them see its the actuall code, so i have to ride a turtle...

*edit* LOL, i just told them, if i enter the code, i get a soulbound mount turtle in my inventory xD. It even sounded logic to me.. no idea if its true.

Well if you use the code the code then becomes usless obviously meaning that you cant sell the code. Just say that you cant show them the turtle because then you would have to use the code.

I recommend you do NOT do this scam!

I did and for a week I thought I got away with it.

2 days ago I found out I got banned for 72 hours and it was my FINAL WARNING. I have played 2 years and never broken terms of service before.

I emailed them back saying I recived the code in game and sold it not knowing if it would work and if I tested it I thought it would ruin it.

They emailed me back saying they found out I got the letter from another character on my account and they cannot reverse the prevous action to my account.

I don't remember why I didn't send the letter to me from a trial account but there must have been a reason.

So, just be careful!

Everyone's saying you should try this on a trial account, and only one poster seemed to realize you cannot send/receive mail on a trial account.

I'd like to try this, but I wonder... Are the people who are getting caught for it NOT deleting the chars they did it with immediately, and thus getting caught that way?
I mean, if I were to do this, get the money, then immediately delete the chars, make new ones, run the scam with them, delete them, etc. etc. would I still get caught?

i have a question if you make a real account does it charge you right away cuz if not you can mail the money to your real account then delete your character then have the one that received it send it to another guy and delete the receiver could that work

now i just cant stop i made 2466 gold off of it someone stop me and it actually is unbannable
because if you put the code on a plain letter go like this example:

Me: ok so you wanna buy it?
Scammy: yeah 155 gold sounds good
Scammy: what is it exactly
Me:theres a code you can get off trading cards
Me:i bought the card offline cost me 119$
Me:im giving you just a plain letter
Scammy: OK

ok i had something similar to this in my inbox from a GM saying the accusations were false and technically he got what he bought the ticket has been closed!! BOOYA!!!!!
