Nice guide , thanks for the effort.
This is a simple guide on all the scam methods and how to prevent them.
1. Phishing- this is the most common type of scamming. It is when the scammer redirects the player to a site that looks like an official Blizzard site and has you log onto the site and it will give your info to the scammer.
How to prevent phishing: Do not go on any websites or give your account info to any site that is not posted on World of Warcraft Community Site

2. TCG Scamming- this is no longer possible thanks to Blizzard.
How to prevent TCG Scamming: Do not use time machines.

3. Profession Raep- This is when a scammer uses another players profession link to get your materials. This is very common among low level players.
How to prevent Profession Raep:
Make sure the player is the appropiate level
1-75: Level 5-80
1-150: Level 10-80
1-225: Level 25-80
1-300: Level 30-80
1-375: Level 52-80
1-450: Level 65-80
Make sure they link you there profession level twice.Once when you ask for it and again before they make the item. Scammers usually only save the link once.

4. WoW mounts -When a scammer redirects the player to a site with "new" world of warcraft mounts.
Prevention: Do not go to Any sites not linked on World of Warcraft.com

5. WoW Movie- When a scammer redirects the player to a World of Warcraft: Movie site. This is a scam. They will whisper you in game.
Prevention: Once again, do not go to any sites you do not know.

6. Keylogger- this is when a scammer tries to get you to download a link.
This virus is like a ninja, it will just sit there until it gathers all your info and then will attack.
Prevention: Do not download any suspicious links.

A lot of the 'ways' to get scammed all fall under 'PHISHER'.
Keylogging imo isn't a way to get scammed. It's a way to get cracked (not hacked, cracked).
But thanks for contributing

This is purely common sence ...
WoW mounts -When a scammer redirects the player to a site with "new" world of warcraft mounts.
Prevention: Do not go to Any sites not linked on World of Warcraft.com
Why don't you just say it like this
Cheese - When a person plants a mouse trap
Prevention: Don't enter the mouse trap!
Try to farm rep on a different way because this is just a waste of database capacity
