Well this is what I did last time, but the thing is that GM's answer 8 hours after opening the ticket on our realm ;(
1) Get an account with a lot of gold on it. I prefer using a phisher and finding a good account with around 20k gold. The first account I got using my phisher had that much.
2) Wait until night time when Blizzard is closed and log into the account. Either use an authenticator, or if you have info to the account just change the e-mail.(WoW.com Account/Password Retrieval) I really don't like merging it with bnet because I don't think there is a way to unmerge it.
3) Sell all the gold to MMOFLY or some other website that buys gold.
4) Wait a couple of hours and open a ticket. Tell them that your account
was hacked and all your gear/gold was stolen or make up some other story. It will be restored for you. (Yes, gold can be restored)
5) Repeat what you did in step 3.
6) Now log out of the account. Take off the authenticator or if you changed the e-mail change it back to what the person had. (If you remember his password change it back too)
7) Wait a week or two, log back into the account and sell his gold again.
Yes I did test this. It worked and I got about $120-180 from just one account with 20k gold. If this was re-posted sorry but I couldn't find anything similar.
Enjoy! If you have questions feel free to ask!

Playing a game for the graphics is like watching porn for the storyline.
yes and it usually takes awile for them to restore the gold
It can take up to 2-3 days on a busy server.
Restore isnt fast enough, I've never seen a restore that fast.
So how do you convince Blizzard that the account has indeed been hacked?
If restoring were so easy, people would often just sell their own gold away and then claim haxx.
Well what happened is I sold someones gold logged on a couple days later and it was there again. I thought restoration would work.
