COD Turtle Account Info Combo

So I read two posts, one about a turtle account scam and one about CODing your 'account info'. I saw a perfect oppertunity to combine them.

COD someone your account info ( someone who looks rather rich ) and say something like :

Here's the account information you need. Thanks for buying my account, I have to stop playing wow. In the COD letter is my account name, password, security question and answer along with my CD key. You already changed the email. My account has (insert amount of gold here) and is fully attuned with everything, epic mounts, endgame gear, etc. We compromised on a (insert price here) deal so that's the COD cost of it. The account I'm sending this from is my GF's ( or BF's ) so he/she can have a little more fun playing. Thanks again dude!

Afterwards, attach the letter with legit looking info. Not yours, but info lol!
They can't resist and then open it. The smarter people wont. Which is where the turtle scam comes in.

Send them a second letter about 5 minutes later saying something like :

Oh shit, i sent that account info to the wrong person. Can you please send the COD letter / info to (insert a name that looks like theres, for example i scammed a guy named robjki and i said i meant to send it to a guy named rojbki) Please don't take my account. Send the info to (insert that similiar looking name again)

doesn't matter if its not a real name, if they mail it and 'no such player found' pops up on them, then you wouldn't have profited off them anyway.

Good luck, i did this once and it semi-worked. The person tried to steal the COD and pay it for my 'account' but they couldn't afford it lol.

Well this could work, but if they do report you, well you can be in trouble...It's not allowed to sell your account

is it that ur not allowed to sell your account, or not allowed to buy someone else's

i don't know. but from the mass emails ive sent ( Lol ) i say:


All accounts are blizzard property and therefore cannot be sold by the person 'renting' the account.

Lol, probably complete bullshit. but hey, maybe its true
