What's your point? We might as well use every other free service out there or pay for a VPS.

A US hosted site won't help us, even if you don't give our details away your hosting will just be shut down for phishing.

Unlike China, US has laws AGAINST phishing...

Again, what's your point?

You'd have to find a domain registrar in a country with little to no phishing laws (like China, I also believe the Netherlands has very little laws on phishing websites) and purchase the .com domain there.

And even if you did that all that does is grant you use of your domain name, it just means Blizzard couldn't file a complaint with the registrar about it because it's hosted in a country with no phishing laws.

If Blizzard can't go through your domain's registrar they'll go to your host (and they do both anyway) and since this is will be a US hosted site they'll have the power of the law behind them.

You will lose your website either way.

Yes you will, but that's phishing. I was just saying that some people would prefer a .com domain over a .tk, for sake of appearing more legit.

there are tens of thousands of free domain redirects out there, why people still use .tk is beyond me.

free hosts are and will always be the best solution for phishing.
