Have you tried this yourself, to see if it works?
or just a theory?
THIS ONLY WORKS IF THE PHISHER YOU USE ATTACHES THEIR EMAIL ADDRESS.
My phisher is hella good, and feeds me viable accounts on the daily. Problem, after a few days or even hours sometimes, the OO changes the password, and thats one more account with an 80 that I'll never use again.
So I quandered, how do I keep these accounts for longer?
The answer is free game time...or the promise thereof.
Break it down like this:
You get the account, log in, do some scammaging and then when you're done for the night, leave the account alone and use another one.
Now, this is speculative as to whether or not they used their Blizz Registered email when you phished them, but you email them back from a noreply@blizzard anonymous emailer:
Dear (them),
Your account has been flagged for inconsistencies in Internet Protocol Address usage from domestic (US) and international internet protocol addresses. To further track, prosecute, and eliminate the hacking threat, your account has been placed on administrative hold for tracking purposes. Do not attempt to access your account via game software or the Account Management page until notification is made by Blizzard at the conclusion of the investigation. Investigation times vary, but should last no more than one week. For your cooperation in this matter, and dedication to the world within World fo Warcraft, Blizzard Entertainment will reimburse your account for the time, as well as two complimentary months for an inconvenience.
Thanks for being dumb, yada yada yada....
That isn't the exact email I would be using, that just came off the top of my head. I'd format is a little differently, as well as proofread it numerous times for grammatical and spelling errors. Either way...
The point is, they render their account useless to themselves, thinking that one week without WoW will give them two free months. Who WOULDN'T do that? But like I said, it's all based on the verbiage.
Jankemization...com-plete.
