WoW Destroyer Scam [THEORY / unattempted]

Welcome to the Destroyer scam. I was just reading a thread in the bots and programs section about a WoW destroyer, and how when it is set on the computer, everytime the person trys to run wow it just closes on them.

Requirements:

• You will need the internet. =]
• Social skills would be handy.
• WoW is also a recommended program.

The Aim:

Alright, so your all thinking, "ok how can we use this to scam". Well this can be very handy if you are trading accounts. What we are going to be attempting to do is find a victim to trade your "account" for theirs.

You will have to persuade them to write their details in notepad and save a file as you do the same. Once you have your notepad file saved with some random junk, you are going to bind the wow destroyer to the notepad. Thus when you both recieve your files you will both go to wow and check what else is on the account / change password etc.

But with the destroyer the guy will keep trying to login but will keep getting closed and stuff liek that =]

Method:

1. First things first, find a victim thats trading accounts.
2. AIM him or msn or whatever you have to chat with.
3. GET TO KNOW THE PERSON, make him feel safe around you. Make him think your legit.
4. Then get him to do the notepad method of detail transfering.
5. Bind your notepad filled of goodies with the destroyer.
6. He recieves file and trys to have a crack on your character, the wow keeps closing he crys and complains to wow of what to do.

So there you go, you got yourself a new account to play around with.


ALTERNATIVE:

Another way of doing this is if you were a middle man to two randoms, you could get both the details and then send both people the destroyer.
But at the moment im just tossing up ideas for new scams because at the moment the scams are getting old.

Nice try but all binders have an end format of .exe, and nobody is dumb enough to open accountinfo.exe

I would mention: for this to work wouldn't you have to convince the person to look at your char in-game to prove you're legit or whatever? Otherwise, he would go to account management to change the info rather than log into wow first thing.

Like I said guys its just a theory, so love the ideas coming in we can all add in and this could turn into a nice scam =]

I like the idea, but getting someone to accept an .exe is hard.
Are there ways to embed it someplace else ?
