Easy scam, all info, good succes rate!

Ok I posted a thread a really long time ago like this one but this one will be a bit different.

What you will need: An account someone will trade for! WITH FILL INFO!(Main problem with this scam is you will have to have the character your offering ON your account, scammed accounts can work too!) TIME AND PATIENCE!

Read this whole guide before you try it!

I will tell you how do this trade/scam step by step.

Step 1: Find someone that will trade on markee (usually not a high rep member)

Step 2: Start the trade and tell them you have a specific way you like to trade becuase you have been scammed before! (If they disagree then say "I won't trade any other way")

Step 3: Trade account name. Then PW. Test to make sure that his character is there. (OFFER TO GO FIRST ON THIS PART OF THE TRADE!)

Step 3.5: MAKE SURE YOU GET THE FIRST NAME ON THE ACCOUNT PAGE! DO NOT FORGET TO WRITE IT DOWN ALONG WITH ALL INFO THEY GIVE YOU!

Step 4: Trade SQ/A. Give them a FAKE SQ/A! (If they give you a fake SQ/A this WILL NOT work!) You can go first or second on this which ever you decide best depending on how they act (Social engineering, by going first you can make you seem very trust worthy, if you go second you can seem cautious and make it look like you don't want to be scammed another good option, it is up to you!)

Step 5: (Now the old method was to get their phone number but now all sites require money to find someones name with a phone number. So this just makes it a bit harder and take a bit more time!) Ask to trade last name now! You can go first and give a fake one, (Make sure it matches the starting letter on the account info page) or have them go first and then give them a fake one. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP! IF THEY GIVE A FAKE LAST NAME THIS SCAM WILL FAIL!

Step 6: If all the info they gave you is true then you basically have the account. You may be asking "but what about email?" This is where the scam REALLY starts. Tell them you do not want to trade anymore. Make an excuse (I say "My friend is the reason im trading and turns out he is trading for a [opposite faction of victims char] so I'm really sorry!" Use social engineering here.)

Step 7: GIVE THE ACCOUNT BACK! Yes thats right, you heard me! Let him change the password and do anything he wants it will not matter! Also take back yours!

Step 8: Make sure you have all the info written down! Call Blizzard, and once you gave account name and SQ/A to the employee say exactly this "I have lost the access to my email and need it changed to a new one." (This will not raise suspicion on the account! Do not say your email was hacked!) Give them an email you have. DO NOT HAVE THEM CHANGE PASSWORD, also don't say anything about the account not in your possesion"

Step 8.5 If becuase the new function on the WoW site that makes it so you can change your email say you forgot your OLD EMAIL ACCOUNT NAME! So you cannot use that function. I haven't done this since the function has been added!

Step 9: Use the retreive password function on the World of Warcraft site.

Step 10: You should now have; account name, password, email, SQ/A, last name. Transfer the character to a new account if you please.

Now this scam is not foolproof and will not work every single try. Keep getting better at social engineering. Do not rush them and be patient.

I can get this to work on about 50% of the people I try. You can of course switch the order of SQ/A, password, account name and even last name.

If you want to get really tricky you can try to somehow con them out of their last name instead of just asking for it. Of course if you go first on everything you should have no problem just asking for last name.

Good thoughts, I've been using this for a while, but with a different excuse, I usually use, well this is my brother's account and he wanted to play horde/alliance (Dependant on their char), but his friend just traded and got a horde/alliance char to play with us, sorry! And use social engineering.

Good scam but you have to make sure you don't have any valuable items on the account you are giving him the real username and pass too, he might steal gold and/or trade goods.. but otherwise, not a bad scam

Well Blizzard can restore items and characters if any are missing. Its not a worry becuase you'll only be giving them account/password.
