Lol, what if he change the password...?
Or maybe, he's stupid and won't change the email!
Great Post, BTW. +REP
Greatly Summarized, leaving it short:
1) Advertise to sell an account with no gametime, offering to go first.
2) Wait for a scammer to contact you, give him the account with INCORRECT Last name, and CD KEY (or say you don't have cd key).
3) Wait till you see your character online (or stay logged into account management and refresh till gametime is added). Recall character.
4) Profit - You got them to add gametime.
Note: Can also be done to a legit seller, but they'll recall their money and you'll have trouble with paypal.

No, you stay logged into account manage from BEFORE you give him the account. Then it'll keep you logged in until you log out.
and even if he changes the email, you can use the new recall method on worldofwarcraft.com, using cd keys or w/e.
Thanks for the alternate solutions.![]()
Should we scam ourselfs? =[
I posted something like this when I first joined the site, but it was an ingame reversal scam.
A lot of WoW scammers are members of this site, so you are probably scamming someone from this site, which is lame.
Thanks for contributing, but next time try to direct the scam at non-scammers.
+Rep if this isnt a repost. Stripless show me ur thread.
Guys, if you're saying 'don't scam scammers', it's pathetic.
A scam is a scam, no matter who you get.
The odds are quite high every time you scam someone, that they're from mmowned.
You can't help that. But if someone's TRYING to scam you, it was their own fault for adding you. They wouldn't have been scammed by this if they hadn't tried to get you first.
any half decent scammer with 2 braincells to rub together isnt going to add playtime to your account, were in it to make money and if you dont know someone is scamming you then you deserve it, A better way would just be post an account saying its a free account to anyone that wants it, go on msn soon as you hand over details wait for them to log in and then recall.
Ya, but it is kind of risky though, waiting for them to add more game-time.
heesh, this is why i hate writing out the BASIC outline of scams --> people can't grasp the common sense sides.
I'll update it later.
great scam, common sence really and there are many meathods now to recall you account if your OO
Good idea man, but this is one of those scam's that you keep to yourselfhaha
Very few people will fall for this, you might as well give out a free account.
Are you purposely acting dumb?
What are you basing that on? You get some noob scammer, they think they got lucky. They'll add gametime - or go sell it to someone else who'll add gametime. They have no reason to suspect anything except that you were a real noob for falling for the scam. Don't see why they wouldn't fall for it, they're thinking that they've just tricked you, not that THEY'RE about to get scammed.
