    [Scam Guide] Poofterpants Methodology

    [Scam Guide] Poofterpants Methodology
Ok, let me start off here by saying this is my method that may already be commonly used. But seeing as there are a fair number of people here who are having trouble getting accounts, I will share my method of phishing, then stopping the victim from getting their account back by blocking them off from Blizzard

My personal experience? I won't lie I'm not guaranteeing you'll make 2500gold in 15 minutes, or 15k gold a day. There are no promises here and although there is a large portion of this attributed to luck - you're lucky that a large majority of WoW players are either stupid or young. I've been scamming since my Neopet days (lol), going through some popular classics like d2, and about 80 F2P asian mmo's, and I can say with confidence that the chance of you getting an account relies on how inexperienced your victim is with mmo's.

Also another note; now is the best time to scam. Why you ask?
New patch just hit, WOTLK is just around the corner, lots of events going on. A ticket to a GM will pretty much take 6 days or so - if you're lucky. Posts on the forum get ignored like trash, Blizz are focusing more on getting their product out (WOTLK) - which will net them a lot more cash than a few petty sub's who are dumb enough to get their accounts phished.

    Sections:
    1. Finding victims
    2. Executing the scam
    3. Taking your goods
    4. Enjoying your newly scammed goods/gold

    1. Finding victims
Probably the part that requires the most effort, which isn't much at all. First thing you want to do is visit google.com, punch in "wow + + guild", simply because you want accounts without the hassle/cost of transfers (unless of course you just want an account to scam with, then this part is up to you really - google any wow guild etc, or check markeedragon or whatever).
Now you have a guild site, you want to visit their forum, and use their search function to do a search for "*@hotmail.com" or "@aol.com" or whatever is the most popular email in your country. For me it would be hotmail, but I can't say the same for everyone. For best results, when using the search, check the box that shows "Show as posts" rather than as threads, makes things a lot easier.
Now that you have a list of emails, take all of them and make a list to save in notepad or something.
Try and collect a large amount, because if you put in say 50 or so emails from various guilds, there are bound to be at least 20 idiots who you'll be robbing.

    2. Executing the scam
Now you want to take one of the various email phishing scams. The one that worked the best for me was the "Account Compromised" > redirect to some fake login + authentication page you've uploaded. I have uploaded a copy of the one I used, although it's the old login page now and you may have to find an updated version - I also take no credit for this, someone on this forum has made it and done a great job.
Along with the scam, here are some emails I have taken and modified from this site.

    To send to traders/sellers:
    Greetings,

An investigation of your World of Warcraft account has found strong evidence that the account in question is being sold or traded.
As you may not be aware of, this conflicts with Blizzard's EULA under section 4 Paragraph B which can be found here:

WoW -> Legal -> End User License Agreement

The investigation will be continued by Blizzard administration to determine the action to be taken against your account.
If your account is found violating the EULA and Terms of Use, your account can, and will be suspended/closed/or terminated.

In order to keep this from occurring, you should immediately verify that you are the original owner of the account.

Thank you for your time and attention to this matter, and your continued interest in World of Warcraft.

While we can restore items with random modifiers (of the Bear, of the Eagle, etc.), we cannot guarantee that you will receive the same modifier you had on your original item. We are also unable to guarantee the restoration of gold, as well as enchantments or add-ons (such as gems, scopes, etc.) that your character’s items may have possessed. While we will make every effort to provide assistance in cases of loss, the decision to go forward with a restoration is entirely at Blizzard’s discretion.

Please make sure that you are the only person using the account and access is not shared with any one else. As a precaution, you may wish to take the following steps to ensure the security of this account:

--Run a virus scan on your computer to remove all viruses, Trojan files, and key loggers.

--Delete any UI modifications you may be using, and check to ensure that all future UI modifications you wish to use are obtained from a reputable source.

Now the fun part, throw either of those into FknMailer (also attached to this post, someone on this forum has made this great program), and make sure you replace the YOUR URL with the scam site you've uploaded. Before sending this to the list you compiled earlier, send it to yourself and try it out to see if everything is looking real, you may have to send and edit it many times before you can get it looking perfect.

After this, you wait. The first batch I tested this on, I sent out 20 emails to a list I compiled from a guild recruitment forum, first few days I netted 3 accounts, then it slowed down, then a week later more came in and I totaled it at 12. So be patient and check for updates every day.

    3. Taking your goods
For this section, there are 2 possibilities.

    A) The persons account password doesn't match their email password.
    In this case, you're a bit unlucky, but not completely. You now have the ability to login to their account and absolutely empty it. Follow these steps;

    1. Vendor everything you can, I suggest against taking items because items have ID's which risk tracking. Gold on the other hand is easy pickings.
    2. Hop on another account, make a new character and create an auction for the amount they have, eg: 4500gold for an apple or something.
    3. Go back on their account, buy that apple, go to the mailbox and delete the apple, delete the mail, then delete that character, make a new one with the exact same name, walk to a city and spam /2 with profanity or rude shit to get the account banned.
    4. Wait an hour for the gold to arrive on your newly created character, transfer it via guild-banking it or auction once again to your main. Then delete that character.

I suggest doing this all at an odd hour, don't do it right after you phish their details, wait till the early hours of the morning when they'd be asleep so they have no time to log you back out and stop you stealing all their shit. If you do it while they're online you've messed up.

    B) The person uses the same password for their email as they do their WoW account.
In this case, you've scored yourself a free account and all the shit on it. Follow these steps:

    1. Make a new email address with any provider.
    2. Login to their email, leave it open, then go to Worldofwarcraft.com and login to their account, change their contact email. Immediately go to their inbox and confirm the change of email, then delete the mail, then delete it again from the deleted mails to remove any evidence of this ever happening.
    3. Now go to their email options, and find the blocked senders list. Add @blizzard.com to their blocked sender list so any emails from Blizz get automatically trashed and erased, they'll think Blizzard are really busy and probably be shitted off. To seal the deal, use their email to mail a non-account investigating division of blizzard such as [email protected], mail them saying "**** you pieces of shit and your game you've ruined. im quitting for WoW, you juts lost a subscriber". At this point blizz will probably blacklist their email address and they wont be able to send any shit to them. Delete the letter from Sent Mail to erase evidence once again.
What you've done here is blocked blizz from mailing them, and blocked them from mailing blizz - eliminating any email-support.
    4. Now that you have their account under your new email, go ahead and change the address/phone number/password/everything. You also have their CD key thanks to the phish site - perfect for verifying your identity if the time ever comes (which it probably won't).
    5. Grats, the account is yours. Check up regularly on their email inbox to see what they're doing to try and get the account back. Check their outbox/sent mails to see what they're mailing blizz so you can be prepared to set up an argument/provide a fake ID for the account. Don't let them know you are peering into their mail though, try not to touch anything. If you find unread mail from any wow related things, delete them and they'll never know it even existed.

    4. Enjoying your newly scammed goods/gold
Don't brag about it in-game, in fact don't even talk about it in-game. And you should be set with a new account! Enjoy

Hope you enjoyed the read and hope it helped. Feel free to +rep if you feel it helped you, or feel free to flame me if you think I'm just trying to scavenge some rep points haha, I take criticism kindly.

EDIT: I can't upload for some reason, so I've linked the threads to FknMailer and WoWScamV3 below.
