Blizz. Authenticator Cracked [Scam][WIP]

Hey Guys,

Recently people were discussing whether or not, we are out of scam ideas. I am here to prove, that we are more than capable of coming up with our own, new, and improved scams. Recently, Blizzard gave us more to work with, they made a NEW login page.

Past the rant, I have thought of a great idea that involves YouTube, MetaCafe, AOL Video, so and so. You get the idea right? We are gonna make a video to spoof Blizzards Authenticator. People will surely fall for it, as no one has thought of it!

I have looked in many threads, and found only one to be really useful, which is was 7itanium's, so proper credit goes to him. I have finally come up with a genius idea. Let's make a scam to have people believe we have cracked the code to Blizzard's Authenticator. It's gonna be a little risky, as no one has done it before, (the scam that is).

Video:

Part 1) Assuming that you have Microsoft XP/Vista, you have Windows Movie Maker. We are going to begin making our video, which will be posted on all of the following places I have listed.

You are going to just want to make titles, credits, and so forth while making your video. Here is an example of mine:


Just make those for the video, and ill show you what to add a little later on in the guide. Let's begin Step 2.

Step 2) We are going to make a YouTube account, Here is a link to do so: YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.

Make yourself a good looking username, not BlizzAuthenticator or anything, or people will surely catch on. Something along the lines of BlizzTricks, or SOMETHING, you get the idea

Step 3) We are now going to need to upload our video onto YouTube, MetaCafe, and so forth.

Somewhere in the process, it is going to want you to make a description of the video, I would put something like this:

"It's FINALLY done, we have managed to crack the Blizzard Authenticator. It is server-side related, so we are not at liberty to speak about it, so watch our video to make sense of all this. Questions? Just do so in a comment please!"

Step 4) Now that you got the idea, of making them think that you are one of the only ones that know, they are going to want to know. You want to keep them on the edge of their seats, correct? Well lets give them what they want. Make the description a little better than mine, since I just came up with that off the top of my head. This step you are going to make or create a great description, cause people look at that before they do the video.

Step 5) In the video, don't make a video like the gamecard scam, as people have already seen thousands of those videos. We want to try and make a program like the fake Gamecard Generator program someone designed in Visual Basic. You want to take a screenshot of it, and paste it into your video, so people see "proof" of it exsisting.

Step 6) This is pretty much the step you would use to touch up your video, putting some good music in it, to get them into it and distracted from the truth. ie: speedy music, pink floyd, you get the idea And check for any typo's.

Promotion:

Now that those steps to make the video are over, let's begin with a new set of steps that we are going to be following. We are now going to be working on, Promotion and Advertisement. Only go this far if you want to get reall into it, and are willing to face any form of consiquence in the event you are caught.

Step 1) We are going to be promoting our video so people see it! Let's begin by using the oldy, but goody, Tube Increaser. Let's get you guys setup with a nice version of it.

TubeIncreaser: Tube Increaser| Increase your YouTube video views now!
Other: Single click file sharing , 100MB upload

Pretty easy setup from their, just install into a folder on your desktop.

Step 2) Start up that puppy(TubeIncreaser), and put it to a good amount of views so people understand. Go have a sammich and something to drink, could take a while

Step 3) Start up a new thread in Account Giveaway's(Assuming you have one to give) and give it to someone who posts positive comments and rates it well. That's the easiest part, letting go of the account, isnt!

Step 4) Now it begins to get harder, we are going to be posting in other area's, your video that is. Here is a list of places you can post your video:

Craigslist
Youtube
Digg(If your ballsy)
WoWCentral
MetaCafe
AOL Video
MySpace
FaceBook

I am sure you could think of some more places, those are just higher end places that people will notice it.

Step 4) Setup an email at live.com and let people send you their info and assume you are hooking them up with an authenticator crack program. (If you get real hardcore, you could send a keylogger)

Help:

As I said, this is where I will help you with what you will exactly need in your video. It is going to be very like the Gamecard Scam, I am sure you have an idea of what that looks like. Here are some idea's for your video, and what to include.

- Email (live.com, mail.com)
- Email Format, ie:

Compose: (Your email!)

Subject: Blizzard Authenticator Crack

Body: Account Name:
Account Pass:
Name:
SQ/SA:

- Surprising features, ie: cracked, discovered, etc. Those are the words that people are going to be looking for, and are thinking are true.

- If someone manages to script a false program in Visual Basic or C++ just post it in this thread, and ill give the proper credit. If someone decides to mke it, Screenshot it and put it in your video to make it look realistic.

- Show reasoning why you won't release the program, ie: secret, could get in trouble, don't want it leaked. People will ask why they have to send the above info, your reply will be something like, "for security purposes only."

Credits:

I am sure there are a few flaws in my Work In Progress, but I am willing to work with the MMOwned Community to get something going with this. People complain about no new scams, let's make this something new. Let's get some new heads out there.

Thanks for the information 7itanium, and for all of his wonderful reseach, and the other thread starters that made me think of this. I have been thinking of new idea's for a scam, and I think this one has potential.

Im making my video now. I thought of my own idea involving this earlier but it was unfinished, I mentioned it at stiggs' thread but I was lazy to finish it. I started working on it again 2 days ago, and now I see you And thanks a lot actually. You gave me some ideas. Also if someone wants a good video, read my guide about doing videos with sony vegas.

Im rendering it right now from Sony Vegas, its at 12%. In the video I described how scammers hacked the Blizzard Authenticator Database, where ALL of the WoW accounts are stored because the Blizzard Authenticator Database is not only the database for authenticated accounts, but for ones that dont have one on as well. And here comes our everyday script that you have to type to create your account. I kinda connected this video with one of my other scam videos. Ok. 42% now.

basic app i made. when you click crack then it comes up with Error Error message. ofcourse if you know auto it you could attach some keyloggers to it etc.
