Botting Scam

Today I was questing in HF and saw someone botting, I was going to report him like a usually do but I wanted to get some gold out of it.. And I did.

What I did was I sent him a in-game letter stating that I would report him to my friend who was a GM and he could receive a 2 week to permanent ban unless he pays me 120 gold..

Now 4 hours later I recieved 120 gold from him and decided to share this with you guys.. I don't know if it was pure luck but I just sent another in-game letter to another botter stating the same thing and I well tell you how the second one goes..

Yeah I agree with you, I use to bot, but I just needed 61 gold for my epic mount so I was desperite...

It was the first scam for a long time..

Well I never use to report anyone, and I guess I won't because I joined this sight.. But I don't mind blackmailing people for gold lolz

Guys, the point of scamming is getting something that usually is worth something for free. Who cares if you report a botter, it's all apart of the scam. This website isn't actually promoting scamming either, it's simply telling people about the scams to warn.

i did this by just following a botter round in nagrand till he came to hims pc and tild me to "GO AWAI". i /w hims aying i wanted 100g or i would report him to blizzard as a botte... he only traded me 80g but its still free 80g.


and no i wouldnt have reported him but empty threat = more free gold.

I dislike these ransom whores so much that I report *THEM* for attempting to blackmail me with something I never did, then hand play that account for a month. Yeah, I lose some gold income, but I'd rather screw with these bastards than pay them and possibly get reported anyway.
