I tried to scam, but I just didn't have the heart to do it. I felt terrible scamming these people. All in all I had 2 bites but never took any gold. I'd rather exploit for gold than scam someone out of gold.

an easy way to do this without having to provide any login info is to go to SOOM.cz and use the fake mailer to e-mail the person saying that the character has been transferred.

This is a great idea, not because of the essential idea, that's as old as toasters, but because of the ways he approaches it with the two paths...

ALSO, I have my own way of getting around the gm ban thing... what I do is, not only do I do the delete guy and make new char with same name thing, but in my mail, instead of just doing super fast, I put down in the letter:

"Congratulations! You are the lucky winner of the X gold lottery! I randomly picked one character on this realm, through armory, trade channel, and other methods,

(another thing you can add is like, between level X and Y or if you're 70, one character at level 70 on this realm... and so on)

that will occasionally receive certain amounts of gold! This is to promote registering on X website, (maybe mmowned! (maybe not though, don't want to get this site into trouble ;P))!

That way, IF Blizzard manages to catch it, you have a larger chance of not getting apprehended for it... and in advance to everyone saying,
"That'll never work, you're such an idiot, bad idea" w/e, as so many people do on these forums
-although it is a lot less than on others ;P...-

Nothing anything like this IS... so if you're trying to come onto the scamming section looking for a foolproof way, YOU WON'T FIND IT. STOP LOOKING!

This is just a way to increase your chances.

Oh as an addition, I'm sorry, but the proof doesn't really show much, there are many characters with large amounts of gold, I do believe (kinda) that the gold is from that, but better proof would be to show the conversation or something ;P
