Is it possible to play WoW through a VPN if the VPN doesn't allow Remote Port Forwarding? Some games like Call of Duty work without RPF, not sure about WoW (TCP over port 3724).

I haven't attempted to use wow without Remote Port Forwarding, my VPN offers it and I only pay like $20.00 a month to be anonymous so it's worth it for me. I will have to try and find a free VPN and attempt to use it, will get back to you along with the update.

If you ever do get your account locked, use an IP relay and pretend to be a blizz employee and tell the guy you need him to fax his ID and crap to blizz. Use a fake mailer and send him the email explaining what to fill out and such.
Worked well for me. But i would say, transfer the chars asap.

Thanks for all the support, I updated the guide with some new information. I'm working on another version with an outline that's shortened for all those who don't like reading my wall of text crit!
