Okay guys, this is another mini-guide that has some small points, some of which I have mentioned. This deals with methods to avoid being caught in order to stay a happy scammer. Better be safe than sorry, right?
When you order gold, some sites just have you put your character name, realm, credit card information, and email contact of some sort. From experience, these are the sites that will be the easiest to 'borrow' from. Their lack of thorough information retrieval shows a lack of experience, which translates into a vulnerability. Be careful, however, this could also mean they will make a fuss about small amounts of money. These are the middle-small businesses that sell gold.
How about that big money?! You know that these sites are serious about making cash when you see what their maximum order cap is. 10,000g seems like a reasonable amount right? If you have done your homework, of course it is. These sites are more thorough in their contact information, however. They ask for First and Last names, emails, and phone numbers. I choose a trustable name, and a matching email. For example: Notta Scammer, email [email protected]... This makes you a more believable person.
As for the phone number, you have to spend a little to get those thousands of gold. Get a prepaid cell phone! This seems like a lot of trouble just for 'some' gold, but you have to decide how far you want to scam. This way, you can directly talk to them (if you are as eloquent and articulate as myself) Trust me, someone yelling over the phone is much more effective than typing, "You haven't given me my gold! I want my money back!"
What if your skills are not up to par in verbal conversation? Then use their automated Live Chat system. Use propper grammar to begin with. This will make you seem professional, and older... As you escalate your feigned anger, start to miss punctuations, capitalizations, and spelling. Here is an example:
Hello, I have yet to receive the gold that I have paid for. I paid over five hundred dollars for that gold and I have yet to see any of it...Waht do u mean wait? ive been waitin for over four days now!...pleas just give me my money back, i woud rathr take my busines elswhere...
NOTE: NEVER EVER MENTION CALLING A LAWYER, FILING A SUIT, OR TAKING AND LEGAL ACTION AGAINST THEM. SOME WILL CALL YOUR BLUFF, THEN YOU HAVE NOTHING TO SAY TO VALIDATE YOUR RESPONSES.
Next is for those who are scared of being tracked via computer. THIS IS FOR THE SUPER PARANOID...such as myself... and only if you have gone really far into my scam... incredibly far...
Use an IP hider/changer. Do your scamming at a local Starbucks, using their free wireless on your laptop. Remember people, this is a business, and businesses must have tools. Uninstall any erroneous programs on the laptop, and delete anything that has names or other information that can lead back to you. These are your scamming computers. Do not use them for other things.
Here are the main points: Hide your identity. Hide your business. Hide your money.
The best scammers are the smart ones. The BEST SCAMMER is even smarter, and more careful.
Another note: Do not recruit people that do not understand the risks. Do not put them into a situation that they do not understand. Everyone on your team must be KNOWLEDGEABLE enough to tiptoe around rough 'clients' to keep total confidentiality. LEADERSHIP is key, so if you are the boss, step up. If you work for the boss, listen and do. Seriously folks, one wrong step means starting all over. That's money lost, time lost, and efficiency compromised.
Anyways.. for the happy times...
With our newly purchased laptops, my associates and I do the scam part within an hour, sip a latte, and get home in time to play a little WoW. We check our mailboxes and have a WoW gold shower. (Not really, but you get the picture.) Each day will make you more confident. Do not second guess yourself. If you have a feeling something will not work, move on.
If there is anything that I have missed, please feel free to post replies. I will continue to make guides until my brain fries, and will report dangers from any experiences. A safe scammer is a happy scammer.
HAPPY SCAMMING ALL!!!

This is a very well thought out guide to protecting yourself if you are a scammer and afraid in getting in trouble or dangerous legal situations. This will make an impact on the scamming community in ANY game and in ANY situation. Thank you.
