Or use a keylogger?
Anyway - why would you want to scam a friend?
Well i was exploring the new firefox version. And i discovered how you can read the passwords that are typed.
1. Let a friend or someone else login in the account page.
2. Make them look away for some reason.
3. Click in "save" in the upper right corner.
4. Now let your friend do his stuff etc.
5. Click on options and then on the tab security and then on Saved Passwords
6. And then click on show passwords.
7. Click Yes.
8. And next to the name is the password

Well some people are scared of keyloggers that contain virusses etc. so this is a save way
And what about public pc's at librarys or schools. You can see thousands of passwords. And it contains a handy search tab. So you only need to typ worldofwarcraf.com. And see the passwords.
wow... who would scam a friend ?
Do you mean file > save page as?
No when a password is typed. and you go to the next window it says something like : Save, Never for this website and Not now. I dont know what it is exactly because i have the dutch version.
Basically, he is saying you look at the save passwords in firefox, this works but honestly i don't see why you would want to do this to a friend unless they pissed you off.
As I just told. This is more for public places.![]()
Just do this:
Path is: Tools > Options...
This is not thanks to the new version.
The old one gave a pop up if memory servers me right which askes you if you want to save it or not and allowed you to view saved passes.
Updated with pics from Quale.
@Syan: Yup thats a easier way.
@John: Yes i can recall that. Some people always click the Remember button because they are busy.
