I know I'm a leech but a friend of mine recently got scammed, and we're really sad about it. Could you elaborate on what you mean by "a few lies about having his account hacked, different IP, etcetra"
I just thought I'd share a little tip I discovered when it comes to recalling your account. About a year ago my friend sold his account and the guy recalled the money, in our attempts to get his account back we had no success in our e-mails to Blizzard with them essentially stating: "This e-mail is not tied to the account anymore, go away".
The other week he tried calling Blizzard and he made up a few lies about having his account hacked, different IP, etcetra and Blizzard gave him his account back even though he sold it well over a year ago.
If any of you decide to do this even though the guy you sold the account to didn't scam you, that's a bit mean. :P But if you've experienced something similar to what we did then you should give it a shot.
Just thought I'd share, don't be mean if you already knew this. :<

I know I'm a leech but my friend is a good guy who recently had his account scammed. If I could tell him to call blizz and tell them this and it would work it would be an amazing solution for a guy who deserves it.
merockstar, you posted twice, anyway good idea, but I prefer just sticking to the idea of no longer having access to the e-mail, and then you effectively have the account back.
