as we all know one of the best scams is gettin an account then xferring the toons off then getting old one banned correct?

Well i just found out if u use your CC to xfer and the last name on your CC doesnt match either account you will either be flagged or banned very soon. I guess blizz is getting smarter. And i mean BANNED not closed cause of owner dispute.

So it looks like xferring guys off will prob not work anymore

They can't, i'm sure his account was dis-closed for some other reason. If they did that people would be pissed. Say your best friend pays for your wow being nice, this would make a legit person loose there hard work. Blizzard isnt stupid.

thats technically sharing a account they can do it. If it is your step mom you will prob have to write an e-mail with proof. It happened to 2 ppl i know and about another 5 on markee dragon saying that every account he had that he xfered off got banned.

And blizz r ******* i know a few ppl who shared the account with there brother and when he filed a ticket cause he brother accidentall deleted one of his items. They banned his account because he was sharing with his brother.

He might be right, because I got the old account banned first... what I'm thinking is that the old owner told Blizzard and then with that information they could ban the new account?

Bullshit. Anyone can pay for anything. Blizzard doesnt care they just want their money. a majority of their players are under 18 therefore a majority of the players dont have a CC. If they made it so only matching names could pay it would complicate the whole thing and cause blizz to loose revenue.

Think of it from a business stand point guys, At the end of the day they are in it for money. Yes they do have to police their rules and keep their dedicated members subscribed but they would never go as far as limiting who can pay for what.

Without botters/scammers this game wouldnt still be around today imo. so they have to keep both sides playing for there cause; money.

IF they are banning for this they are just policing it. And IF this is happening, it wont be within the next few weeks.

Your under 18 so you use game cards if not your parents CC's and theyre last name is registered to you.

This probably only hapens when the owner of the account you scammed attempts to get it back. Blizz checks and see your toons were xferred off using a CC that doesnt match either first or last names. So since the guy is trying to get account bank they might either lock the account or just ban it entirely.

He IM'd me with this and he has no evidence to back it up.

Blizzard does not care what credit card is used to pay for an account, to transfer a character, or for anything, really. They just care who plays on it. You mentioned someone was banned because their brother played their account. Account sharing is not allowed, so, that's fine.

Unless I see some hard evidence that this can result in the closure of an account, then I am labelling it as hearsay.

I didn't say use game cards to transfer, I said use paypal (which you can easily make in someone elses name) and then use game cards to pay for the time instead of a CC
