So, I had just recently read a post in the scam section and couldn't make heads or tails or it, but I got the hint of it...

This scam is very risky and you will likely get banned on a live server, but you have less of a chance to get banned on a private server...

If you are going to do this on a private server, Do the following...Some servers have high Level caps that can go up to 185, and have "Donor" gear which is...You give money to the server....You get Overpowered bullshit gear...

The following senario is for a private server:

You go into one of the global chat channels and say "Want to Trade lvl (Your level) (Your Class) with donor gear or (Great Gear)-It helps to list some of your gear...For any character over Lets say 120 (This all depends on the level cap of the server)

Since Noobs LOVE Overpowered gear since they do crappy without it, you should get tons of whispers..."Plz, iR Will trade"...Its up to you to decide who you want to scam because...You will not really give the account up!!


Once you get a target, say "Alright, Lets do this." If they are a true noob, they will say something like "How do we go about this =/"

At this point, Have the Private server's website open and ready to use at Alt+Tab...

You should say something along the lines of "First we share Account names since they is no secret question setup and then we share passwords..."

Commence Username sharings....You can give him the wrong one...Or the correct one...At the moment it doesn't matter...

When you get his Account name for the private server, Pop it into the Private Server Website...Then Alt tab back to WoW and say "Alright, Share our passwords now so we know this is a good deal."

To avoid him scamming you, you can always say "well, I do have better gear and have alot more to lose then you here so...Can you share the P/W First?"

Hopefully, He will say...

"alright, but plz dont scam me..."

Let him share the password and pop that into the website that the server belongs to...When you get the Connection that it says something like "Thanks for logging in (Name)."...


Quickly go back to WoW and say, Ok...Your info checks out fine...Here's my password....Both log off now and check the account out...

Make sure he logs off first...When you See that he logs, find the "change password" tab and change it...Since most of these servers dont require you to accept the P/W change over email, it is done on the site...

Grats, you now have a back-up account!


Now, My Improvment on this is the fact of turning this into possibly getting his retail WoW Account!

As many of us know, many noobs belong to Private servers...Why you ask? Because they are promised Level 70's in full epics and legendarys...

Also, Noobs might also use the same info for their Private server account for their retail account...So where is this heading? After the scam is pulled off, Log onto the Main WoW sites and check if the account info is correct...If it is, You are one of the luckiest mofo's that ever scammed a noobie!

So far from this scam, I captured a Lvl61 Nelf Rogue In Shadowcraft set and some outland epics/Blues...Just Over 740g...And ive only been working at it for like 30 Minutes...

You don't have to be all that careful. It's a private server and if you DO get an account on retail then who are they gonna report? :P
