Getting Last name on an account

Not sure if its a repost or not, I think i saw a short thread on it a long time ago but i can't find it anymore, and it didn't really go very in depth.

If you have an account where maybe, the seller gave you the wrong last name, or you can't remember the last name, or w/e, you'll need

-~20 bucks
-A gift card (works like a debit card) with <15 bucks on it
-Your email has to be on the account

An example of a "gift card" you can use is a Simon Gift Account:

There might be more but that's what I used.

Keep in mind that this is not instant either, you will have to wait until the next billing cycle where Blizzard attempts to charge your card.

Put the depleted gift card on the account, then once Blizzard attempts and fails to charge it, they will email you saying something along the lines of

"NAME: Bob Hope
Credit card failure"

And you will have the full name on the account.

If the time on the account has already run out (as it had in my case) you'll have to have enough money on the card to pay for 15 bucks it takes to reactivate the account, otherwise Blizzard will not accept the card as a valid form of payment. Then, in that situation you will have to leave the card on the account and wait one month before they charge again, and send you the email.

That's what I had to do, but it was worth knowing the last name in the end for selling purposes or transferring.

there's a gift card or a gift account. the account is bought online and and delivered through email, and works just like a bank checking account card.
