Experience Off in Leveling BG Exploit Fixed?

I think patch 5.1, which was released today, fixed the exploit where you could have disabled XP and get into BG's with XP on players. Has anyone else tried it today? I did it correctly (disconnected myself from internet once I got in with xp off) and saw that I had gotten kicked and got the deserter debuff when I relogged.

Same problem for me.
I'm currently theorycrafting a few tactics.. Will let you know if I'm successful!

No need to have nerfed this 'exploit', its just a game ffs! 'Morality' does not come into it. Devs are such boring farts..
