Anyone else think Wotlk pvp is a gaint failure?

Especially arena atm. Its a bloody joke I think it can be expected. Balancing is one thing but has anyone seen the official blue posts lately?

They pretty much making arena cater to casual newbs instead of well co-ordinated strategic match ups. That dipshot ghostcrawler actually says they don't want arena to be like chess and contain to much cc or healing like in previous seasons.

Its hard to imagine why they would completely change and already good formula which had world competitions and everything, of course making it more balanced and fun is cool but turning it on its head?

So re-joice insta jibing, keyboard turning, 4 button mashing newbs your time has come.


I know theres some pretty good arena players on mmowned, what do you make of this bullshit?

I agree with you on arenas not taking much skill at all. From all the arenas i have done we dont even have a plan we kinda do our own thing and our team is 14-3. Kinda sad ={

idk but this is exactly how season 1 tbc arena was.. remember
2x frost mages + holy pala
2x pom pyro (2x arcane wrath version)
4 dps 5v5 teams.

it all evened out at season 2 once the majority had resilience gear.
same thing over again.. i just hope they introduce an arena alternative soon. this counter comping queue dodging got rather old now.

Umm I still think it's ok. Yes, it was a lot more fun in S2-S4 since all the fights lasted more then 20 seconds and you actually had to think of a strategy, but now I'm at 1700 with 1 loss, started this morning. I am playing for a priest now, and its a lot harder to survive, you have to depend on your gear and your partner to save your ass, you can't kite your enemies around anymore .

I think Bliz is hoping that once everyone gets rid of the PvE gear, and wear pvp gear the damage would go down. PvP gear is a bit weaker then the pve items, and at the same time your going to be gaining the resil/ stam.

i honestly dont think that is goign to fix anything, but i guess we ll see.

Wotlk as a whole is a failure, its ****ed up the only aspect of the game i love... BG/Arena, its so inbalanced at the moment...

Ret paladins slash through people's resililence like its warm butter -_-.

Anyway, yeah There are some classes I wanna see beat down by the nerf stick.

DKs- Take away that god damn magic absorbing shield and Death Grip,

Priests- This class can just go to hell

Paladins- Take away bubble while in PvP (Yeah I"m a ret paladin but I act as if I"m a fury warrior swinging 1 2h wep

The only thing I"m bothered by are the "balancing" nerfs, I don't want Blizzard to come in and take away my DPS....AGAIN....I just broke 3.4k

its ridicioulus(i hope thats right spelled oO) as i looked lately on the top 10 of my pool,... i saw dk + holypaladin, dk + holypaladin, dk + retpaladin, dk + holypaladin,........... and resilence is a joke atm.. got 655(+-10) - worth: nothing

They said they were looking at ways to decrease damage in pvp. It also doesn't help that people post "JUST TAKE AWAY BUBBLE" or something like that, because it cripples the other specs. Bubble is being nerfed to take away 50% damage while bubbled. And most of the people who get "3 shotted" are people who don't have resilience, aren't spec'd for pvp, or are just bad and want a reason to QQ. Burst is too high, Blizzard said they're working on it. Give it time.
