Well for an alliance race, Human is the way to go, no matter what class you're rolling. A strong 1v1 class is, as it always has been, rogue for example. I also find that pretty fun to play

depends what you have fun with, i had a rogue and didn't like the gameplay, honestly i sucked with it. So i leveled a warrior and really enjoyed the pvp aspect, even with crappy gear i could kill many people. Now im leveling a druid again, and cant wait to pvp with that. How are feral druids anyway?

There is no best class in PvP in wow actually.
In wow the classes work a paper-rock-scissor system.
The are exceptions of course if you are really good at playing you're class.

Example:
Shadow priest -> warrior/rogue
Ret pala -> Shadow priest

And so on.

for 1v1, the best class would most likely have to be a rogue. race would be human for double trinket, a good rogue can beat any other class 1v1 imo.
