Spanish people have more rights in wow than us.

Don't know if this has been posted already, but if you search armory for such names as "bitch" "****" "sex" and so on you'l find out that most of them are in "Crueldad" battlegroup which is the only battlegroup spanish realms have. Why is it so that they can take all the offensive names and we can't ? Is this somehow connected with "CRUELdad"? Why can you take such names like "Asscollector" but you can't take the names like "ass"? Blizzard has something to explain to us!

Um. Blizzard's policies are 100% reactive. This means that someone has to report someone's name in order for them to take action.

Sometimes, if someone submits a GM ticket and the GM sees the name while talking to the person, and if the name is really vulgar, it's possbile they'll flag them for a name change, but that doesn't always happen.

The point is, anyone can take almost any name you want. As far as I know, "ass" is not filtered when naming a character. But, if someone reports it, you'll have to change it.

It's possible for someone to have the name "Tittiahole" for 3 years and never have to change it. It's also possible for someone to have the name "Iluvualot" be changed a few days after playing (sentences in names aren't allowed). It's just a matter of someone reporting the name.

People on the Spanish realms clearly are more indifferent to these names, and fewer of them submit tickets most likely.

Er, what do you mean? My signature...what? What about my signature? o.O

Anyway, I honestly don't have a list of things that are filtered when naming a character. I really don't know. But, the point is, if "bitch" was able to slip past, then the person who named their character "bitch" would never have to change their name unless someone reported him, or possibly if a GM saw it while he was talking directly to a GM.

GMs don't police names/channels. If you spam a racist slur in Trade chat, and if no one reports it, then you'll never be actioned. But, most likely, someone will report it.

Crueldad is spanish for Cruelty which is not filtered out. Also wow only blocks english/german/french/spanish. I can create a char named "putadamerda" (portuguese for "****ingbitch" (translated, not literally) and ill only get a name change if i get reported by someone who knows what that means.
