Should I make a bot?

Should I or should I not, that is the question. lol.

After hearing about the devestating WoWSharp being closed, I took interest in creating a bot. I did a little experiment. Took 5 minutes. I went to Tsearch and searched for my health value. I got 2 values. The amount of health I do have, and the maximum amount. (Values were AACA308 and AACA320) I immediatley was attracted to creating a bot. What are your thoughts? If I do create one, what should I call it? Gimme some ideas? Should I or should I not.

do you know C#/C++ and do you know how to use rootkits and do you want to spend hours and hours of trial n error?

I do know a little bit of C++ and C#, but I was thinking of creating it in AutoIt, standard, but whatever. There are codes in AutoIt to read/write to memory addresses. I do know how to use rootkits, a little. Spending hours of testing errors is my life. (no, but close lol)

lol, or in honor of WoWSharp, just call it WoW!Bot... nah.... how bout something like regular bots have, something without WoW in it. Like Dragonbot or somethin...

i dont think theres a whole lot you could do in auto it to make a very good bot....

AutoIt was created with C++, most functions in C++ you can do in AutoIt. You can also hook to the WoW Window to send keys directly to the window, theres a lot you can do, trust me.

me neither m8, but really if you feel like then you can make it.. go for it man, it might turn out to be both fun, frustrating and a great experience at the same time. perhaps you will get into coding and maybe your bot will get great.
I'm serious, go for it if you don't feel like, you can always stop

I agree with kurios. im not doubting YOU, im just not sure that AUTOIT can perform such complex things. like Kurios said, go for it and hopefully it comes out good. If you need testing of it, or want it to be ''open source'' you can put it up for us contributers to help with and stuff.

Do not use the word bot, therefore if you do eventually release it to the internet it will be harder for blizzard to find, i suggest you call it some random name perhaps made up like i said it makes it harder for blizzard to find


and it's your choice if you want to spend your time and effort making it and fixing errors if you are considering making one perhaps you should get in contact with Merc and the creator of Innerspace see if they can help you out at all with making the bot less detectable

You should do it because if you don't like it and you don't want to do it, you didn't lose anything, you gained from it. So I would say go for it man, and have fun!
