[Question] Computer Shutdown

So, since saturday my comp has been acting strange.
When I start launchpad.exe (glider) everything is all right, I launch WoW and start the bot. Seems to be working 'till 10 minutes later the computer shuts down. Now it random shutdown after I started the bot, sometimes after an hour, sometimes after ten minutes.

I did also formated my computer last friday, maybe the problem is there?

Anyone whats wrong? +rep if you can help me!

Does your computer beep when u start it then sits at the windows load screen for a long time, or does it lag alot cause if so it might be ram issues if you formated your computer and not it shutdown might be something wrong with your bios or partinion u might have to formate agin and make sure everything in your bios is ok

The first thing that I would check is to make sure that you have the most current version of directX especially since you just reformatted your pc.
I would also make sure that all of your drivers, dot net frameworks, etc. are up to date.

Can DirectX make the computer shutdown? Hm..

sure can. Also incompatibilities between your video card and directx can cause you to crash.

Run dxdiag from the command prompt, it may provide you with some helpful info.

You don't have to try it if you don't want to. I'm just sharing what has helped me in the past.

Maybe its wrong with the xp I installed. It was a Windows XP Dark Edition

It's a custom made one so. Maybe should try a orginal one

Yeah that is probably it, you should just use normal windows. I don't trust anything but legit windows. The site that it is downloaded from looks like a P2P site or something of that sort. A little shady.

Yey I got a new problem. I post it here, don't feel like making a new thread!
When I try to burn it says the cd is corrupted or something, tried almost every sort. I can't burn

Hmm, maybe your burner is messed up. What type of comp are u having the problem on?
If its dell and they are good about replacing it.

It's a custom made on, The burner have worked before but not know, it didnt before i formated either

Can someone help me. I updated DirectX and Microsoft.NET! It still shutdown sometimes

Auron, not to sound like you are a n00b or anything, but really try to clean ur fans both for ur graphic card and ur big fan... might be ur computer getting too hot

Yeh but, its only when I use glider. I can run two wow windows at the same time without shutdown.
